In the first half of 2025, the Italian Private Equity and Venture Capital market continued its strong momentum: investments reached €5.2 billion, up 17% compared to the previous year. A total of 370 deals were completed, reflecting a dynamic market particularly in buyout transactions and high-potential startups, although new fundraising dropped by 40%. Infrastructure investments saw remarkable growth, more than doubling year-on-year, while international funds provided the largest share of capital. As usual, Lombardy led the way, followed by other northern regions, with the most active sectors being ICT, healthcare, and industrial.

Nel primo semestre del 2025, il mercato italiano di Private Equity e Venture Capital ha continuato a correre: gli investimenti hanno toccato 5,2 miliardi di euro, in aumento del 17% rispetto all’anno precedente. Le operazioni sono state 370, segno di un’attività vivace soprattutto nelle fasi di buyout e nelle startup più promettenti, anche se la raccolta di nuovi fondi è calata del 40%. Grande slancio per le infrastrutture, con investimenti più che raddoppiati, mentre i fondi internazionali hanno messo la quota maggiore di capitale. In testa, come sempre, la Lombardia, seguita da altre regioni del Nord, con protagonisti i settori ICT, medicale e industriale.
